Apply to Pediatric / School Occupational Therapist
Occupational Therapist (OT) – School-Based Contract | Monterey County, California
ISO Workforce Alliance is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for a full-time school-based contract opportunity in Monterey County. Some assignments fill a schedule; the best ones remind you why you chose this profession. This opportunity is designed to feel like the latter.
Why this opportunity stands out:
Make a difference along California’s Central Coast, surrounded by dramatic coastline, redwoods, vineyards, and communities that offer a refreshing change of pace. You’ll also have the chance to help students build the functional, sensory, fine-motor, and self-regulation skills that can change how confidently they participate in school.
What you’ll do:
• Evaluate students and develop school-based OT recommendations and goals.
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services in alignment with IEPs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support access and participation.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance with applicable school requirements.
Who will thrive here:
We’re looking for a collaborative, student-centered OT who communicates well, values teamwork, and enjoys seeing small functional gains become meaningful everyday wins.
Assignment highlights:
• Start: August 2026
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, normal school hours
• Approximately 37.5 hours per week
• School-based setting
• Support from the ISO Workforce Alliance team throughout your assignment
At ISO Workforce Alliance, we believe great school professionals deserve more than a placement. We focus on responsive communication, a supportive candidate experience, and opportunities where your work can have a lasting impact on students.
If you are ready for a school year that offers both professional purpose and a place you can enjoy calling home, we would love to connect.
