About the Opportunity

ISO Workforce Alliance is partnering with a respected critical access hospital in New Mexico to identify a skilled Physical Therapist to join a collaborative and patient-focused care team.

This role offers the opportunity to work across both inpatient and outpatient settings, delivering meaningful, hands-on care while building strong relationships with patients and the broader clinical team.

Pelvic Health specialization or high-level experience is highly preferred, making this an excellent opportunity for a clinician looking to bring advanced skills into a supportive and flexible environment.

Position Overview

The Physical Therapist will provide direct rehabilitative care, evaluating patients and implementing individualized treatment plans designed to improve mobility, function, and overall quality of life. This role also includes supervision of support staff and participation in clinical education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform initial and ongoing patient evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care
  • Deliver therapy interventions using evidence-based techniques
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), aides, and students
  • Support clinical education for PT/PTA students during rotations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications

Education:

  • Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy (required)
  • Doctorate (DPT) preferred

Licensure & Certification:

  • Active or eligible New Mexico Physical Therapist (PT) license
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required within 90 days

Experience:

  • 1–5+ years of experience preferred
  • Experience in acute care and/or outpatient settings
  • Pelvic Health specialization or advanced experience strongly preferred
