Position Overview

As a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, and communication disorders, supporting their academic and social development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in alignment with IDEA guidelines
  • Provide therapy through individual, small group, and classroom-based models
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary planning

What You Bring

  • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Active California SLP License or eligibility
  • SLP-CCC preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply with strong mentorship support available
  • Experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
