About the Role
ISO Workforce Alliance is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Registered Nurse (RN) holding a Professional Educator License – School Nurse (PEL-SN) to support Elmhurst Community Unit School District. This full-time position serves middle school students in grades 6–8 and combines traditional building nurse responsibilities with special education caseload management. The role supports approximately 669 students and is an essential part of the school’s student services team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct health services and promote wellness for students and staff

• Manage a special education health caseload and support IEP processes

• Conduct health assessments and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines

• Maintain accurate, confidential student health records

• Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success

Qualifications

• Required Licenses:

  • Professional Educator License – School Nurse (PEL-SN)

  • Registered Nurse (RN), State of Illinois

• Experience in school-based or pediatric nursing preferred

• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
