Special Education Teacher (Extensive Support Needs – Home/Hospital Program)

Overview:
ISO Workforce Alliance is seeking a compassionate and credentialed Special Education Teacher with an Extensive Support Needs authorization to provide Specialized Academic Instruction (SAI) for students receiving services through a Home/Hospital program in the Placerville area. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students who require individualized instruction in alternative learning environments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct Specialized Academic Instruction (SAI) to assigned students in Home/Hospital and community settings.

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with each student’s IEP goals.

• Adapt instruction and curriculum to meet individual learning needs.

• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and communication with families and district staff.

• Collaborate with case managers, general education teachers, and related service providers to ensure student success.

Qualifications:

• Valid California Education Specialist Credential – Extensive Support Needs 

• Experience with Home/Hospital, one-on-one, or alternative learning environments preferred.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Reliable transportation to travel between assigned student locations.

Compensation:
$70–$80 per hour (based on experience and credential).
