
Intermediate Instructional Teacher (Grades 3–5)
Location: Elmhurst, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–3:15 p.m.
Weekly Hours: 33.75 (includes a paid 30-minute lunch)

About the Role:
We’re seeking a compassionate and dedicated Intermediate Instructional Teacher to lead a self-contained classroomserving students with diverse learning needs. This class includes learners with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), specific learning disabilities, functional needs, and communication challenges.
The ideal candidate will create a supportive, inclusive, and structured learning environment that fosters both academic progress and social-emotional growth. Collaboration, flexibility, and strong communication skills are key to success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized instruction aligned with student IEP goals
Support social-emotional and behavioral growth using evidence-based strategies
Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and general education staff
Maintain organized data and documentation to track student progress
Qualifications:
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
LBS1 Endorsement required
Experience supporting students with varying learning and communication needs preferred
Start Date: November 2025
