About the Role
ISO Workforce Alliance is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our school-based team. Under the supervision of the Director of SELPA/Special Education, the BCBA will provide behavioral assessments, intervention plans, and consultation services to support students with special needs in educational settings.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about empowering educators, families, and students through evidence-based behavioral supports.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and behavior management strategies for special education students in accordance with IDEA and California Education Code.
Conduct functional behavioral assessments (FBA) and analyze data to guide intervention planning.
Provide training and support to school staff, paraprofessionals, and parents on:
Behavioral assessment and intervention techniques
Crisis management and de-escalation strategies
Principles of behavior modification and evidence-based practices
Consult and collaborate with school psychologists, teachers, and administrators on student support plans.
Participate in IEP team meetings and contribute behavioral expertise to individualized student goals.
Maintain clear documentation, progress reports, and behavioral data logs.
Supervise and mentor special education support staff implementing behavioral strategies.
What We’re Looking For
Certification: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – required
Education: Master’s or Doctorate in Psychology, Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or related field
Experience: Minimum one year in school-based behavior analysis, management, or socialization programs preferred
Skills:
Strong understanding of behavioral theory and intervention design
Effective communication, collaboration, and coaching abilities
Excellent record-keeping and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while supporting multiple school sites
Other Requirements: Valid California Driver’s License
