Pay: $70–$80 per hour (based on experience)
About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated SPED Teacher (Resource) to join a supportive school team in the Belmont area. This full-time position focuses on providing specialized academic instruction and individualized support to students with mild to moderate learning needs in both inclusion and pull-out settings.
The ideal candidate is collaborative, student-centered, and passionate about helping learners reach their full potential. You’ll work closely with general education teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create an inclusive learning environment where every student can succeed.
Responsibilities
Provide specialized academic instruction for students with mild/moderate disabilities
Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to adapt curriculum and instruction
Collect and maintain accurate data to monitor student progress and inform instruction
Participate in IEP meetings, staff collaboration, and professional development activities
Qualifications
Valid California Education Specialist Credential (Mild/Moderate) or equivalent
Experience working in a Resource Specialist Program (RSP) or similar setting preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
