ISO Workforce Alliance is hiring a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer at a prestigious medical center in the Houston, Texas area. 

As a Cardiac Sonographer in this role you will work alongside pediatric critical care medicine physicians and hospitalists. This role involves providing twenty-four-hour, in-house, and on-call coverage to ensure optimal care for patients with intensive care needs.

DETAILS: 

• Perform echocardiogram tests: prepare and position patients, select appropriate imaging techniques, and ensure high-quality images.
• Enter and monitor patient data.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and escalate issues appropriately.
• Perform quality assurance on equipment and assist with accreditation applications as needed.
• Report any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to the Supervisor/Manager.
• Participate in department performance improvement activities.
• Take emergency calls within the department.
• Ensure safe care for patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to all policies and procedures.
• Promote professional growth and development through mandatory/continuing education and skills competency.
• Support department goals and serve as a preceptor, mentor, and resource for less experienced staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.This is a night shift position working 12-hour shifts - 36 hours per week.
