Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH)

Job Description  ISO Workforce Alliance proudly announces an immediate opening for a Teacher of the Deaf (TDHH) in the Lemont, IL area.  The exact school locations of the itinerant TDHH are to be determined with schools in Tinley Park, Palos Heights and Hickory Hills. 

DETAILS:  
  • Full Time, 37.5 hours per week, 
  • Hourly pay
  • The current opening is for an itinerant teacher (one who travels between schools/districts, or  a self-contained elementary classroom.
  • Professional development days with other school based social workers
  •  This commonly is learners with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder).
  • We also support learners with language disorders plus other special needs (specific learning disability, emotional disability, OHI, ID, etc.) that results in needing more special education services.
 
This candidate must have a Teacher of the Deaf  PEL license endorsement in Illinois from the ISBE.
